Personal data we process

Zinnings processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

– First and last name

– Address details

– Telephone number

– E-mail address

– The items ticked on a list, such as interests (in newsletter, training courses, etc.).

– Text you provide in free text fields on the contact forms on the website

– preferences you provide in order to optimise the organisation of workshops, training courses or other events.

We also save all e-mails you send us, and thus also the information you voluntarily provide in them.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@zinnings.be and we will delete this information.

Zinnings processes your personal data for the following purposes:

– To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to perform our services

– To inform you about changes to our services and products

Automated decision-making

Zinnings never makes decisions based on automated processing, and therefore a fortiori does not make automatic decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals.

How long we keep personal data

Zinnings will not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected. As long as you do not let us know that your interest in ethics has disappeared, we will keep your data.

Sharing personal data with third parties

In principle, Zinnings never provides data to third parties. Exceptionally, however, this may happen but only if it is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. This concerns invoices, for example, or, after your consent, car-pooling. after your permission, to organise car-pooling to a workshop, or to exchange documents with the other participants.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Zinnings only uses technical and functional cookies, to a very limited extent. Zinnings may use tools, possibly with cookies, to prevent or limit abuse by robots of contact forms on the websites.

Zinnings does not use analytical cookies, including those that do not invade your privacy. Zinnings does not use tracking or analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other scripts.

General explanation about cookies: a cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. Cookies on websites ensure that a website works properly and can, for example, remember your preferences. They can also be used to optimise a website. View, correct or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Zinnings and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you. 

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@zinnings.be.

To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of the front of your e-ID with the request. Please black out your passport photo and passport number in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but certainly within six weeks.

Zinnings would also like to inform you that you can submit a complaint to the national supervisory authority in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority – Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit – Autorité de protection des données (GBA-APD). How we secure personal data

Zinnings takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
